FAQ's

Here are some questions you might have before or after retreat registration.

Now that things are back flowing as far as international travel is concerned Bali is no exception and is ready to welcome you with all the love , light and open arms you can handle! The weather is nice is September also!

Your arrival into Bali should be on September 23rd and your departure on September 30th. If you intend to come early and leave later to explore Bali (which is always awesome), keep in mind your transportation to and from the airport will be yours to schedule and pay for. 

Yes, there are 2 – flex payment option above is still available with a maximum of 6 payments . All payments are non-refundable.

Yes. 21% government tax and service is included.

YES! Arriving travelers for 30 days or less need to obtain a VoA aka Visa-On-Arrival. Once you arrive at the Bali airport you will first go to one of the ‘VoA Counters’ to pay the appropriate fee $35 usd and have your passports stamped with the VOA before proceeding to the immigration Clearance desk. An official bank is part of the VoA service counters. Payment of visa fees can only be made in US dollar bank notes, Indonesian Rupiah equivalent or by VISA or MASTERCARD.

 

A VoA extension of 30 additional days is allowed upon payment of an additional fee. Please note that the application for extension must be made prior to expiry of your visa. Visitors that stay beyond their visa expiry date will be charged a fine of IDR 1.000.000 per day of overstay upon departure with a maximum overstayed 60 days.

If you have special dietary needs, please let us know when you register so that we can factor those into menus.

All room options are double occupancy. However if you would like to have you’re own private room you will pay the rate of two participants. Please email us at support@preciousbivings.com for additional information and accommodations.

We understand that you may have prior obligations planned, but we ask all participants to attend the entire duration of the retreat. If you cannot attend the full week, let us know and we will do our very best to ensure you receive all that you came for and more!

We recommend light, flowy and comfortable clothing that breathes. Feel free to bring your sun dresses and wraps. Being near the equator, our sun is hot and can burn much faster than what you might be used to. Sleeves or a light jacket is also helpful in the evenings if you decide to take a scooter ride. We’ve got great natural bug spray and SPF 25 sunscreen, but don’t forget to pack your own if you have your favorites.

The sooner is ALWAYS better. September is considered low season for Bali and that means you’ll get the best rate. But also be sure to give yourself as much advance as possible. 

Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is the international airport you will be flying into. Remember you can lose up to two days with the time change and flight time, so double check your arrival date and retreat start date.

Although we will not be requiring COVID-19 vaccines at this retreat, we will be requiring a negative covid test within 48 hours of arrival at Soulshine for ALL GUESTS whether you are vaccinated or not.

However, the Indonesian government can change the COVID-19 regulations to enter the country, these rules will apply.

We have your transportation covered! All retreat packages include transportation to and from the airport. Once we get closer to the date, we will organize it for you. One of our trusted drivers will meet you with a Soulshine Bali sign and big welcome smile. 

Your retreat purchase only includes rides to and from the Bali airport on the day of check out from the hotel, not to/from other locations on the island.  If you should depart Bali outside of the check out date of the retreat, your departure transportation cost will be your responsibility.

This retreat is non-refundable and no exceptions will be made. Furthermore, we cannot accommodate package transfers in the event you are unable to attend. If something comes up and you have someone else in mind of your attendance, let us know and we will make accommodations as best we can.

RE: OTHER TRAVEL VACCINES + Medicines

Not typically required to visit Bali.

There are some great pharmacies (“Apotek” in Indonesian) and an awesome health clinic nearby Soulshine Bali in case you need anything.

WHAT IF THE RETREAT GETS CANCELED DUE TO COVID?

Bali is currently “open” (“open” means Bali is not requiring a quarantine to arrive), the retreat will be happening as scheduled.

Should we have to reschedule our retreat date due to COVID-19 regulations for this country, your retreat payment will be applicable to the rescheduled dates. Rescheduled dates will be communicated via email.

While we will not be requiring COVID-19 vaccines at this retreat, all retreat participants, including those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated, will be required to provide a negative covid test result taken within 48 hours prior to arrival at Soulshine, our retreat location.

This retreat is an opportunity to solidify yourself based on the design that you choose!

That said, we welcome you and your partner, friends and family members (21 years and older) to register and attend the retreat to MASH together!  

Bali electricity runs at 220V.  Adapters will be necessary if you are bringing any electrical items. We use the European plug (two round pins). We have adaptors for you to borrow and all our rooms have at least one American adaptor to plug directly into. You can also borrow adaptors from reception once you arrive.

We provide hairdryers in each room. Please do not bring your hairdryer as it might blow.
